
This fine Scottish Baronial Hall is most famous for its connections with the celebrated poet Robert Burns. Robert Burns wrote many of his well known works whilst staying at Friars Carse.
With origins in the 13th Century, the hotel is only 6 miles from the town centre yet having a country location. The Friars Carse hotel is set in 45 acres of stunning woodland stretching to the banks of the River Nith with private salmon and trout fishing. 21 en suite bedrooms with colour tv, mini cd, radio alarm, tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer, telephone and DVD.

If you cancel in breach of our cancellation policy or are a no-show then you will be charged a cancellation fee.
Leave the a74 Gretna Turnoff for the a75. Follow the a75 until you reach a Large Roundabout with a bridge then turn off on to the a76 for Kilmarnock. Follow the a76 for 5 Miles and shortly you will reach Courthill Caravan Park on your left. Signal right at this point and Friars Carse is 10 yards on the right.
