This fine Scottish Baronial Hall is most famous for its connections with the celebrated poet Robert Burns. Robert Burns wrote many of his well known works whilst staying at Friars Carse.

With origins in the 13th Century, the hotel is only 6 miles from the town centre yet having a country location. The Friars Carse hotel is set in 45 acres of stunning woodland stretching to the banks of the River Nith with private salmon and trout fishing. 21 en suite bedrooms with colour tv, mini cd, radio alarm, tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer, telephone and DVD.

Cancellations

All children are welcome. All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots. All children under 5 years stay free of charge for extra beds. All children from 5 to 14 years are charged GBP 5.50 per night and person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
